REFPROP - Refrigerant Thermophysical Property Database
147 types of fluids + mixture compatibility. A world-standard thermal property database essential for science and industry.
REFPROP is a database of physical properties, thermophysical properties, and experimental data for refrigerants and heat transfer fluids created by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States, and it is an important tool for researchers and developers. This database provides data on transport properties, thermodynamics, equations of state, temperature, pressure, heat capacity, enthalpy, density, specific heat, viscosity, heat transfer, saturation states, cooling, air conditioning, compressors, fluorocarbons (freons), the ozone layer, global warming potential (GWP), and greenhouse effects, and it calculates the thermophysical properties and transport characteristics of refrigerants. It supports 147 types of pure fluids and mixtures, including 121 predefined mixtures such as new refrigerants (R407C, R410A) and air, and it also allows users to define and store new mixtures.
